Paris Hilton Claps Back at Mom-Shamers Criticizing Her Son's Appearance, Calls for Kindness and Respect Online

Social media users recently targeted Paris Hilton's infant son, Phoenix, after she shared photos of their trip to New York City. Some comments regarding Phoenix's head size sparked concerns about a potential medical condition, prompting Hilton to respond firmly to the online criticism.

In an Instagram story on Monday, the 42-year-old celebrity defended her son, emphasizing that he is in good health and condemning the hurtful remarks. "Living life in the spotlight, comments are inevitable, but targeting my child, or anyone else's for that matter, is unacceptable," she expressed. "This hurts my heart more deeply than words can describe. 💔 I've worked hard to cultivate an environment that is all about love, respect, and acceptance, and I expect the same in return."

Hilton, who shares Phoenix with her husband Carter Reum, highlighted the challenges of being a public figure and a mother, underscoring the unwarranted criticism faced regardless of her social media activity. "If I don't post my baby, people assume I'm not a great mother and if I do post him, there are some people who are cruel and hateful 😢," she stated. "I'm a proud working mom and my baby is perfectly healthy, adorable, and angelic. 👼 I've dreamt of being a mom for as long as I can remember. ✨"

Hilton and Reum welcomed Phoenix into their lives in January through the help of a surrogate. Referring to him as "the biggest blessing" of her life, the "Paris in Love" star expressed her profound love and protection for her son. "Phoenix is my world and has been the biggest blessing of my life," she wrote. "Every day with him is a reminder of what truly matters. It's hard to fathom that there are people in the world who would target such innocence. 🥺 I hope that people can treat one another with more kindness and empathy. 💙 🙏"
